Sturry Link Road success!!

Kent County Council has approved plans for the construction of a new viaduct over the Great Stour and railway line between Sturry and Canterbury. The proposals are an integral part of the wider Local Plan infrastructure proposals and will bring relief to the heavily congested level crossings as Broad Oak and Sturry. C&A have been involved in this project for a number of years, undertaking earlier design and testing of the proposals, supporting assessment of the Local Plan housing schemes and developing and running the VISSIM microsimulation traffic model used by all parties in the assessment of the proposals. C&A are delighted about the result and look forward to seeing the scheme come forward alongside the link road to be constructed as part of the Land at Sturry housing development.
