Curry, Quizzes, and a Cause Close to Home

Last week, colleagues from our Hook office took part in a quiz evening with delicious curry, quizzing, and community spirit – all in support of a wonderful local charity, Victoria’s Promise.

Founded in memory of Victoria Van Der Togt, Victoria’s Promise provides vital support to young women aged 18–50 who are navigating their cancer journeys. The charity works to empower women who are undergoing cancer treatment at three of the hospitals near to our Hook office (Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, Frimley Park and Royal Hampshire County Hospital). They offer a range of services including counselling, complementary therapies, peer support, and practical help such as transport to hospital appointments. Their mission is simple but powerful: to ensure that no young woman faces cancer alone and they continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many families.

Congratulations to our winning C&A team, who achieved an impressive 81 points out of 96, including a standout 42 points out of 48 in the round on English County Councils!!

It was a great evening which included eating fantastic curry in support of a great cause!
