Great feedback to receive from Surrey County Council on a recent drainage strategy submission:

“I wanted to drop you an email to say how impressed I was with the drainage strategy and the presentation of it. You have been engaged with the pre-app process and considered all the requirements of the LLFA as well as the standards to offer an excellent solution. It is not often we receive applications that we would consider as ‘right first time’, so a huge well done is in order.”

A Flood Risk Assessment and Drainage strategy were prepared to support an outline planning application for the proposed redevelopment of Manor Farm, Tongham, involving the demolition of existing buildings and provision of up to 420  dwellings.

Our assessment demonstrated that the potential for flooding and both surface and foul water drainage disposal would not constrain the development of the site.

Recognition that the application, including the presentation of the drainage strategy was considered ‘right first time’ is something we’re particularly proud of at C&A. Achieving this standard helps ensure a smoother, more efficient planning process for all parties involved.
