Planning Approved for New Padel Club in Aylesford

Planning permission has been granted for an exciting new padel club at Larkfield Mill in Aylesford, transforming a former commercial warehouse into an eight-court padel club.

C&A provided transport planning support for the proposed change of use, including a transport assessment and parking analysis to ensure the development integrated effectively with the local area.

The site benefits from strong accessibility by sustainable transport modes with strong connections for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport users. Our transport assessment concluded that the development would result in only a minimal increase in traffic on the surrounding highway network.

Parking accumulation analysis confirmed that the proposed parking provision is appropriate for the anticipated demand.

Overall, the proposal demonstrated that the new padel club can be successfully accommodated without adverse transport impacts and is well-suited to its accessible location in Aylesford. The scheme will bring a high-quality leisure offering to Aylesford while making effective use of an existing site.
